OneCatalyst Organizes Scavenger Hunt to Boost Support for Ronald McDonald House

In 2017, One Catalyst’s Where’s Einstein scavenger hunt, with 160 participants, raised $814 and provided goods for the Ronald McDonald House of Central & Northern New Jersey. Some funds covered administrative costs, with the rest dedicated to supporting children with life-altering conditions in 2018.

OneCatalyst Continues to Grow

In 2018, One Catalyst Foundation raised $3,055 through the Asbury Park Food Tour and received $3,021 in individual and corporate donations. A $2,500 contribution to Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center supported a sleeper chair. Administrative costs were covered, and remaining funds contributed to aiding One Catalyst’s mission in the coming year. The board also welcomed a new member, Michael Leppert, a seasoned business executive, bringing over 30 years of leadership experience and a commitment to community service.

Diverse Fundraising Triumphs and Compassionate Grants

In 2019, One Catalyst organized a Memorial Day Weekend 50/50 and basket raffle which raised $3,500 in net proceeds. A food and wine pairing fundraiser was also held, featuring wines by the former Assistant Wine Maker of Opus One and Founder of Euclid Winery and presented by celebrity chef Adam Glick from Below Deck Mediterranean, generating $11,500. Additionally, we raised over $1,000 in private gifts from many generous donors. Crucially, One Catalyst’s commitment materialized in awarding $13,500 in medical financial assistance and scholarships to 6 individuals and 1 institution.

One Catalyst’s Resilient Fundraising Amidst the Challenges of Covid-19

In 2020, One Catalyst persevered through Covid-19 challenges, raising $12,435 in direct donations. A virtual 50/50 Raffle organized by the Board yielded $6,285 by year-end, with remaining funds carried over to 2021. Notably, $18,000 was awarded to thirteen individuals facing medical financial hardships, and $2,000 in scholarships supported a student from Jessica Bongiovanni’s hometown high school, Manchester Township High School in New Jersey.

Oktoberfest Fundraising Success, Generous Grants, and Scholarship Impact

In 2021, One Catalyst raised $51,000 in direct donations and hosted its inaugural Oktoberfest event, attracting 209 attendees at Shore House Bar & Grill in Point Pleasant, New Jersey. Through fundraising, One Catalyst proudly awarded $14,250 to 16 individuals with serious medical financial needs. Additionally, $2,000 in scholarship money supported a student from Jessica Bongiovanni’s hometown high school, Manchester Township High School in New Jersey.

Growing Impact, Community Engagement, and Compassionate Support

In 2022, One Catalyst raised $34,000 in direct donations. The second Oktoberfest event attracted 170 attendees, and a Wine & Design fundraiser in June brought 35 participants. Through dedicated fundraising, One Catalyst proudly awarded $32,000 to 32 individuals with serious medical financial needs. Additionally, $2,000 in scholarship money supported a student from Jessica Bongiovanni’s hometown high school, Manchester Township High School in New Jersey.
