What to Expect
One Catalyst Foundation will be hosting a wine and food pairing fundraiser event. At the event, fine wines from Euclid and McKenzie-Mueller Wineries in Napa Valley will be paired with gourmet food selections. Wines have been hand selected by former assistant winemaker at Opus One Winery, Mike Farmer. Food pairings for each wine tasting will be prepared by Chef Adam Glick, celebrity chef featured on Bravo TV’s Below Deck. There will be six total pairings throughout the evening. The event will also feature live music and a cigar-smoking area (cigars will be provided).
The event begins at 5:00 p.m. The first tasting will occur at 5:30 p.m. Parking is available along Old Cider Mill Road and Thompson Grove Road. Please be considerate of neighbors’ properties and lawn. Please leave the driveway open.

The event will be held outside, rain or shine, with undercover sections in case of rain. Dress is smart casual. Women should be aware that portions of the event will be on the grass when making choices regarding footwear.
Born in Hobbs, New Mexico, Adam was brought up in a variety of locations both in the U. S. and overseas, living and traveling with his sister and parents. It wasn't until his return to California that the culinary bug bit him. Eventually, he would move to Southern California and attend the Art Institute of California, where he received a Bachelor's degree in Culinary Management. While living in San Diego, Adam cooked and served in some of San Diego's finest restaurants. Over a decade later, Adam has been the chef for dozens of private motor and sailing yachts. His years of experience in the industry have kept him busy and his clients happy. In the summer of 2013, Chef Adam Glick filmed the very first episode of Food Network: Cutthroat Kitchen. In 2016, in what seemed to be destiny, Chef Adam set sail for Split, Croatia to film the second season of the Bravo TV hit series Below Deck Mediterranean 2. As a hobby, Chef Adam produces quick tip video recipes for the amateur chef to get inspired and learn.
In 1979 Mike began his career as a harvest employee at Robert Mondavi Winery, which he referred to as the University Of Robert Mondavi, since it had some of the best to learn from. In 1993, Mike took a position as the Cellarmaster of Opus One winery and had the opportunity to work directly with Tim Mondavi and Patrick Leon’, the winemaker at Chateau Mouton. Throughout the next 21 years, Mike had managed all production at Opus One and left as the Assistant Winemaker. Mike is the founder and owner of Euclid Winery in Napa Valley.
